Hello!

I’m so happy you are here. My name is Adriana. I’m a registered psychotherapist qualifying and I’m passionate about helping neurodivergent individuals who have been impacted by trauma and anxiety learn how to heal consciously. The majority of my practice focuses on helping my clients heal their emotional wounds, recover from trauma, overcome anxiety and depression, develop constructive coping strategies to alleviate distress, and guide and support them in navigating life transitions. Using a holistic, person-centred approach, I draw upon cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and somatic therapy.

Additionally, I’m trained in various energy healing modalities such as crystal therapy, pranic healing, and Bach flower remedies. I’ve found that integrating energy medicine with clinical interventions can be remarkably effective in helping my clients to heal and integrate on emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual levels.

Psychotherapy Sessions

During our initial session, we will work together to understand your concerns, explore the underlying roots of your presenting issues, and gain greater insight and clarity into your situation. Together, we will then identify and create achievable and meaningful goals.

In the treatment phase, you will learn powerful therapeutic tools and strategies for healing and transformation and apply them to cope with life challenges, break negative thought patterns, and cultivate new and empowering mental and emotional states.

In the change phase, you will experience the results of your progress and the achievement of your goals and learn how to overcome any challenges that may arise during the application of your new learning. Just remember to trust the process and be kind to yourself.

FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

The frequency of our sessions is tailored to meet your unique needs, and this is something we will discuss during our initial consultation. To build consistency and promote therapeutic progress, we typically suggest starting with weekly or bi-weekly sessions. As we progress together, we can adjust the frequency of your sessions to make sure you are receiving the best support in your journey.

Each person’s path is unique, and we understand that the length of therapy may differ due to various factors. The duration of therapy may differ based on numerous factors, including the complexity of the client’s concerns and personal goals. Some of our clients have seen great progress after just one session, whereas others may prefer to continue therapy over a longer period of time.

While we don’t accept insurance, we provide a receipt you can submit to your provider for potential reimbursement. It’s worth checking with your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan to see if they cover psychotherapy services.

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed appointment leaves a hole in the therapist’s day that could have been filled by another client. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Clients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged the full session fee.
