Virtual Counselling & Psychotherapy in Ontario and New Brunswick

Compassionate, trauma-informed therapy — available online from wherever you are in Ontario or New Brunswick, including Toronto and Moncton

Along with our ability to feel our own pain go our best hopes for healing, dignity and love. What seems nonadapative and self-harming in the present was, at some point in our lives, an adaptation to help us endure what we then had to go through.

A Safe Space to Heal — Wherever You Are

Your journey toward healing can begin right where you are. At Zenitud, we offer virtual counselling across Ontario and New Brunswick — compassionate, professional, and designed around your life.

Life can feel heavy sometimes. You might be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in patterns that are hard to change, navigating grief, or simply sensing that something in your life isn’t working the way it used to. In fact, many people carry these experiences quietly for a long time before reaching out.

If that’s where you are right now, you’re not alone.

Therapy is not about having everything figured out before you begin. Rather, it’s about having a safe, supportive space to explore what you’re going through with someone who truly listens — whether you’re in Toronto, Moncton, or anywhere in between.

Above all, we meet you where you are and walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and care.

Who We Support in Therapy

Every person’s story is different. Some people come to therapy during a difficult chapter of life, while others come because they want to understand themselves more deeply.

At Zenitud, we provide online therapy for adults across Ontario and New Brunswick who may be experiencing:

  • Anxiety, constant worry, or racing thoughts
  • Depression, emotional numbness, or loss of motivation
  • Trauma or post-traumatic stress (PTSD)
  • Chronic stress or burnout
  • Relationship and attachment challenges
  • Grief, loss, or major life changes
  • Low self-esteem or difficulty with self-worth
  • Life transitions and identity exploration
  • ADHD and neurodivergence

You don’t need to have the “right” reason to begin therapy.

If something in your life feels difficult, confusing, or overwhelming, that’s enough to reach out.

Why Virtual Counselling Works

Many people are surprised to discover how effective and comfortable online therapy can be. In fact, research consistently shows that virtual therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for many mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress. For many clients across Ontario and New Brunswick, virtual counselling actually makes therapy more accessible and sustainable.

Therapy that fits your life

Online sessions remove many of the barriers that can make therapy difficult to start — commuting, scheduling conflicts, or finding services in your local area. You can attend therapy from a place where you already feel safe and comfortable.

Accessible across Ontario and New Brunswick

Whether you live in Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton, London, Moncton, Fredericton, Saint John, or a rural community, our secure virtual platform allows you to access professional counselling from anywhere in the province. Because of this, support no longer depends on where you live.

Privacy and comfort

Sessions take place in the privacy of your own space. Furthermore, there’s no waiting room and no risk of running into someone you know.

Flexible scheduling

We offer appointments Monday through Saturday, including evening availability, making it easier to integrate therapy into your work and life schedule.

Ready to Take the First Step?

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable. Many people wonder if they’re ready, if their struggles are “big enough,” or if therapy will really help. However, you don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out.

If you’re looking for virtual therapy in Ontario or New Brunswick, we’re here to offer a space where you can slow down, reflect, and begin moving toward the life you want.

Whenever you feel ready, we’d be honoured to support you.

FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

You don’t have to wait until things feel unbearable. Many people start therapy simply because they want to understand themselves better or feel more supported in navigating life. If you’re wondering whether therapy could help, that curiosity alone is a good place to begin.

How long does therapy take? There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. The duration of therapy may differ based on numerous factors, including the complexity of the client’s concerns and personal goals. Some people find meaningful progress in a handful of sessions; others choose to work together over months or longer. We’ll check in regularly about how therapy is serving you and adjust accordingly.

The frequency of our sessions is tailored to meet your unique needs, and this is something we will discuss during our initial consultation. Most clients begin with weekly sessions, which helps create consistency and momentum. Over time, sessions can shift to bi-weekly or monthly depending on your needs.

While we don’t accept insurance, we provide a receipt you can submit to your provider for potential reimbursement. It’s worth checking with your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan to see if they cover psychotherapy or Counselling services.

Absolutely. Everything you share in our sessions is strictly confidential. We are bound by professional and legal standards of privacy that protect your information.

The only exceptions, which we are legally required to follow, involve situations where there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others, a court order, or obligations related to public safety. Even in these rare situations, we will always aim to speak with you first whenever possible. If you have specific questions about privacy, we’re happy to discuss them during your consultation.

Yes. We use Jane App, a Canadian-based platform built specifically for healthcare providers and compliant with Canadian privacy legislation (PIPEDA and provincial health privacy laws). Your sessions and personal information are encrypted and protected.

No, we do not offer formal diagnostic assessments. If you’re seeking a diagnosis, we can discuss options and point you in the right direction.

We are currently a fully virtual practice, serving clients across Ontario and New Brunswick from wherever they are. We are exploring the possibility of an in-person office in the Greater Moncton area in the future — stay tuned.
